The Spirit blows where it will,
and we do not know where it comes from
or where it is going.
So it is
with everyone
who is born of the Spirit.
Hear our prayers,
Spirit of the Living God.
Blow among us again.
Rebirth in us the joy of living,
the love of all that is holy,
the hope of salvation.
Make your presence so tangible
that we can reach out and touch it
in our strength
and in our weakness,
in our hope
and in our fear,
in our living
and in our dying.
Sing to us in quiet whispers
of your faithfulness
and compassion
that your song becomes a part
of who we are
in our new lives in Christ.
