Out of the depths, I cry to you-
The depths of my anxiety.

The depths of my grief.
The depths of my frustration.
The depths of my pain.
The depths of my fear.
Out of the depths, I cry to you-
For those who are exhausted.
For those who are sick.
For those who have been left behind.
For those who are seeking a sense of control.
For those who know they cannot be saved.
Out of the depths, I cry to you-
As I wash my hands.
As I walk alone.
As I talk to people on the phone.
As I log in for the 100th Zoom call.
As I preach to an empty room.
Out of the depths, I cry to you.
I beg for consolation.
