Burned sandwiches on a baking tray
This was dinner…

Holy One,

I have good intentions, but… I’m losing track of details. I’m distracted. I’m grumpy. And I’m disappointed in myself when I can’t seem to get it together.

But You are Grace personified, sending a holy flood of gentle encouragement. You are gentle humor, making me chuckle at a ruined dinner as a “burnt offering”. You are faithful, nudging and prompting me when I need it, and always sending your faithful ones to shore up my spirits.

May your love continually draw me back and my lips only speak praise for you, my Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Amen.
