I feel like we are always asking for something when we pray, O God
We have our lists…we need so much – especially right now…
- Healing…
- Justice…
- Transformation…
- Courage…
- Faith…
- Release…
So instead of asking, today we come offering to you, Gracious God
- our renewed commitment to you
- our renewed commitment to humanity
- our renewed commitment to creation
Receive our prayers of commitment grounded in love and gratitude for all you have already done, Gracious God, and lifted in trust that you will tend to those unspoken things that yet weigh heavy in our hearts.
We offer this day to you as we rejoice and are glad in it.
Amen.

She is sustained in the struggle and finds renewed joy and imagination in the movement towards liberation by the contagious laughter of her 10 beautiful and brilliant grandbabies. Dr. Pagán-Banks loves to have deep conversations and purposefully supports local artists. Along with many other writings, she is a Godly-proud contributor in the newly released book “Words of Her Mouth: Psalms for the Struggle.”
