Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may lay her young,
at your altars, O Lord of hosts,
my King and my God. Psalm 84:3
We have so many doubts. You made us to fly, but we doubt our wings. You gave us a song, but we forget to praise. You know the way we are made, down to each nerve and bone, yet we don’t believe you know what we need.
Forgive us. Remind us of our heritage. Show us again how you provide for us, how you are always with us.
And when we are weary from challenges that confound and stress us, renew our hope and give us safe rest.
