God of All Emotions,
There are friends in our midst who may be feeling this way, and we hold this space for them…
Dread shoves joy out of the way,
and despair becomes our new companion.
Even when the sun shines,
it’s like a cloud filters all of the light out of our sight.
Hope has not abandoned us,
but fear has hidden it from our view.
May tomorrow’s clouds dissipate.
May hope sparkle like the stars in the night sky.
May the flow of Divine Creativity move our souls once again.
Amen.
