Words.
Lord, I have no words.
I have feelings and questions and dreams. I have prayers that linger on my mind, but are not yet expressed in words. I have names and faces whose prayer requests are… unspeakable, because the pain is so raw and real.
I sit in silence. I wait and listen. I breathe and listen some more. I long for clarity, but my vision is foggy. The way forward is not clear. I ask for answers, and you say, “not yet”…
I know your Spirit is at work, guiding, guarding, refreshing, and renewing. I know you will be present with me as I wait and pray. And breathe. Just breathe.
And I abide in you in these moments… and breathe. Just breathe. Thank you. Amen.
