Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years.”Genesis 1:14 NLT
Creator God, Maker of all that is beautiful, wondrous and true…
Thank you for the signs of the seasons, of new buds and flowers, of falling leaves and crisp nights.
Thank you for helping us be better stewards of Creation, instead of wasting the vast resources around us..
Thank you for being an unchanging Beacon in a world with no roots, no standards, no consistency.
Thank you for being with us in life and death, celebration and mourning.
Thank you for the inspiration we find in your creative Spark, your Spirit’s flame.
Shine through us, Holy One. May what we do this day show your faithfulness in the shifting of the seasons, in the changing of the tides.
