Friday Prayer

A litany of things that are not United States election news: 

For women protesting for their physical and political rights in Poland, we pray to the Lord. 
Lord, have mercy. 

For the ongoing famine in Yemen, we pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy. 

For the threat of civil war in Ethiopia, we pray to the Lord. 
Lord, have mercy. 

For those affected by multiple hurricanes in the Gulf Coast of the United States, we pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy. 

For those willing to risk dying for a chance at a better life, we pray to the Lord. 
Lord, have mercy. 

For all who live in fear in Armenia and Azerbaijan, we pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy. 

For the Philippines, facing typhoon and typhoon, we pray to the Lord. 
Lord, have mercy. 

For people who are willing to try experimental treatments in hopes of improvement or wholeness, we pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy. 

For those who do not have access to enough food, clean water, or healthcare, we pray to the Lord. 
Lord, have mercy. 

For those living in countries where neighbors are rewarded for betraying neighbors, we pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy. 

For those who are feel unable to share personal good news or joy, we pray to the Lord. 
Lord, have mercy. 

For the unspoken prayers of our hearts and minds, we pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy. 

Hear our prayers, Lord, and in your mercy- answer us.
