May the God of Abigail protect us from fools who have neither wisdom nor discernment.

May the God of Deborah and Jael encourage our understanding that we are the ones we have been waiting for.

May the God of Huldah give us the words of truth to speak to power.

May the God of Bathsheba console us when the actions of others cause griefs too great to bear.

May the God of Gomer silence those who manipulate our stories and our names for their own gain.

May the God of Mary Magdalene shame those who seek to co-opt our witness and message and erase our contributions.

May the God of Martha of Bethany bring us peace in our every day activities and bless us in their doing.

Amen.
