Hello, preaching friends!

The 11th Hour Preacher Party is up and running, for your pre-recorded, zoom, or in-person worship needs. If you’re an RCL preacher, check out this post. Or a Narrative Lectionary preacher, here’s one for you. If you’ve put together a sermon series for Advent, feel free to share your ideas or ask for help here. Whatever pandemic-related conundrum you face, you’re sure to find a helping hand!

Know that you are in my prayers, as you prepare and preach, as God’s people hear the word you proclaim.

  1. Working on the Isaiah passage and no ideas yet. It’s such a rich passage–sometimes such rich passages feel overwhelming to me. I know I want to incorporate both joy and room for grief in the service, though. We didn’t have our usual Blue Christmas service this year, which would’ve normally been this coming week, so I may draw on a few of the resources we normally use for that.
