The year continues to move on. Here we are at Advent 4. Are you lighting the candle for Love? We are doing Peace at our place.
Whether you are preaching Narrative Lectionary, Revised Common Lectionary, or something else altogether, we are here to help. What do you need? Sermon illustrations? Time with the Children? A way to wrap things up? People to help you untangle ideas or find commentary? Let us know, we will help as we can.
RCL folks can find that discussion here.
Narrative Lectionary Preachers can find that discussion here.
We are moving through the days. Both the Narrative Lectionary and the RCL move us into Luke and the beginnings of the Nativity story. I’ll be checking on this post during the next several days. We will be offering an additional Preacher Party later this week for Christmas Eve and Christmas and Christmas One.
The photo is my little display of Nativity sets. It’s been awhile since I’ve done much with decorations, but it seemed right this year.

Mary and Love. Not your sentimental kind of love. The love that lays one’s life on the line.
