Loving God-
You wind around each of our thoughts, infusing each image with love. Your light beams on each image which comes to the surface of our minds.
Yet sometimes the words do not rise as they should. Sometimes words are hiding behind clouds of exhaustion, health issues, trauma, and fears. Our minds reach for a spark of creativity, and we find nothing.
(Even writing this prayer, Holy Creator of Words, I’m struggling to craft this prayers as the images seem far from me.)
May my mind find renewal. May my heart feel your peace. May images and terms spring forth. May the well of your creativity flow from your Spirit.
Amen.
