God of ajar doors-
One year ago we stayed within our homes. And now we look ahead to a world regathering.
There are so many people in the stores and roads. Don’t they know there’s still a pandemic? And, simultaneously, don’t I realize I maybe should start slowly and safely re-emerging as well?
As the world continues to open, may this anxiety creeping up into my heart and mind fade away. As I see the number of cars in a parking lot and people in the checkout lines, may I grasp your peace, God. Help me find your wisdom – in masking, in traveling, in gathering.
