Blessed are the reconnections:
the sharing of a conversation in the garden,
the carefully-spaced worshippers all in a room together,
the fully-vaccinated family members who can finally hug.
Blessed are the reconnections:
the “how are you doing?” text,
the “thinking of you” note in the mail,
the “I miss you” phone call.
Blessed are the reconnections:
the reset fuse,
the burst water-pipe repaired,
the internet humming through a restarted modem.
Blessed are the reconnections:
the pause for breath,
feeling feet on the ground,
mind and body in the same place.
We praise and bless you,
Holy One,
for you connect and steady,
you warm and soften
Blessed are the reconnections.
Amen.
