God of the Pothole-Filled Roads,

How do we express pain on our journeys when we are supposed to be Stepford-humans? How are we to stop the tears when the paths are too bumpy and the road forward is filled with cracks?

Divine Companion, I want to stop, but you keep nudging me forward. I want to hold deeply to my pride but you urge me to ask for help. May my vulnerability be a gift to this world. Allow my embarrassment to slip away. When the road seems blocked, may your Spirit smooth the path or give us the courage to journey on a broken road

Amen.
