O Holy One, Divine Creator of all, open our eyes to see the beauty of the world as you designed it and see it. Open our hearts that we may have compassion for all people and know one another as siblings in this family of humankind, made in your image, beautiful in our diversity. Help us shed the limitations we impose on ourselves and others from the human constructs of race, gender, ethnicity, and religion. May we, instead, see that our diversity is a joy and a gift, enriching our lives and the world we live in. Guide those of us who are part of the dominant culture to become gracious listeners and learners, to step down from dominant positions and create opportunities for equity. Grow in those of us who see through and benefit from the false narrative of white superiority, an awareness of our sin and the capacity to seek reconciliation and reparation. Transform our words into action, through the power of your grace and mercy. Amen.
