Manna-provider,
we come to you hungry,
and you feed us with the Bread of Life,
thirsty
and you provide Living Water.
We come to you weary,
and you offer rest,
sin-sick,
and you offer healing.
We come to you lost —
like sheep without a shepherd —
and you guide us to places of safety;
you gather us in
and call us your own.

Storm-whisperer,
we go off on our own without you,
and you follow us into the choppy seas;
we find ourselves tossed in the darkness,
and you speak words of comfort
and of calm.

Miracle-maker,
we long to know you intimately …
to trust you completely …
and to love you unconditionally.

Hear our prayers of thanksgiving, O God.
Hear our prayers of praise.
In awe and wonder, we bow before you,
and lift your holy name.
