“Be strong and courageous,” You say to me.
But Holy One,
I feel weak and afraid.
“Be strong and courageous,” You say to me.
But Truth-Giver,
I am uncertain what to say.
“Be strong and courageous,” You say to me.
But Protector,
There are people who would devour me, and they seem to be everywhere.
“Be strong and courageous,” You say to me.
But Wisdom-Giver,
But I am tired and frustrated, and can’t see my way clear.
“Be strong and courageous,” You say to me.
But…
“…do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
Yes, Lord… you are with me. I am so grateful.
Blessed be!
Amen.
