Expansive God, whose goodness is beyond measure, forgive me when I hold things too tightly, anxious about numbers and results. Forgive me for counting my steps and attending to carbs and pondering another cup of coffee, and failing to add up my time with you.  Forgive me for listing the roster of my neighbors too narrowly, and failing to see the costs of my advantaged life.  Forgive me for measuring all the wrong things, and missing your generosity, so deeply alive in the world. Turn my heart, generous God, to count what matters, to measure only the heart, and to treasure the minutes in your presence.  Amen.
