Creator of all,
I thank you for the beauty of your Creation:
The mosquitos in my yard,
The poison ivy along the fence,
The sunlight shining on the weeds in my garden,
Yes, even the weeds.
Thank you for providing for me
In this green space
A reminder of your abundant love
That nurtures the wheat and sifts out the chaff,
That teaches me to be discerning
But allows room for all,
That asks for diligence.
In the light of your welcome and compassion,
I see the beauty of weeds,
And the hospitality of your Grace.
Blessed be.
Amen.
