Stained glass reflecting on a church floor.

Where are you, Lord, in the silence?

Where do we find hope in the gap between life and death?

In the whirlwind, how can we hear your voice of compassion?

In the storm, how can we feel secure?

We wait, Holy One.

We wait in the shadows of doubt and disbelief.

We wait for joy that comes in the morning.

We pray in the silence.

We look to the promises that are wrapped in your hope

…in the morning.

We believe in Your promises to us.

Blessed be. Amen.
