Holy One,

Today, we pray for Joy in our work, as we finish preparations for our gatherings, engage with our congregants, and collaborate with other worship leaders.

Today, we pray for Wisdom, as we listen to the hurting, hold the weary, and corral resources for the needy.

Today, we pray for Humor, as we watch our quirks rub against others, our imperfections rattling another’s.

Today, we pray for Perspective, as we sort out our own questions and doubts to hear Your Spirit speaking through us in our sermons.

Today, we pray for Hope, as we watch the news from our neighborhoods and around the world, and as we pray for our own families and dear ones in their pain and trials.

Today, we pray for Resilience, to let Your Spirit mold us, remake us, and remind us You are still God.

Today, we look to You, the Pioneer and Perfecter of our faith to continually lead us.

Today… we pray with humility and thanks.

Blessed be.

Amen.
