Dear Lord
Make me a succulent which can survive on drops or showers, whatever comes. Prepare me also to thrive on sips or gulps of grace.

Dear Lord
Make me a birch bough, which is as useful as it is lovely. Ready me to do the work you have placed here for me.

Dear Lord
Make me a strawberry, both nurturing and cheering. Send me forth to feed in body and Spirit – in your name.
