Sweet Spirit of Hopefulness,
Too many stories of heartache fill our newsfeeds. Too many comments of negativity fill our airwaves and irritate our eardrums.
Between the public world and our private lives, sorrow and anxieties rage. Where is your tranquility, Spirit of God?
As the currents of life overtake us, may your winds encircle us with gusts of strength. As the storms ravage the path ahead of us, may you fill our souls with the air of peace.
In gratitude, we celebrate the moments of calm, courage in the face of calamities, and the determination to move forward with you beside us.
Amen.
