Thank you, God
for the tent that kept us dry last night
that the cooler is still cold
that the bear didn’t come
for the way Lake Huron thunders
for the warmth of fast food restaurants and the joy of hot coffee.
Help us, I pray, to be open to your gifts, aware of the good things you send, and willing to tell about them.
