In the first year of our online community, Roundups were a major feature of our blog. Several times a week, a team of bloggers would read all the new posts in the ring and highlight them. As the ring grew larger this became an impossible task. We moved to different formats and features. Wednesday Festival now highlights blog posts each week, usually on a theme. Many of the blogs we linked to in the early years have gone quiet, or the authors have moved their writing elsewhere. We’ve migrated the old Roundups along with the rest of our previous blog not for the links, but for the story of how our community built itself. Sometimes you find the story in the blog posts, but more often in the comments.
