The mission of RevGalBlogPals is to create community and provide resources for women in Christian ministry. At our continuing education events, we welcome clergywomen regardless of denomination, as well as supportive women otherwise engaged in the life of the Church universal.
March 24 – 26, 2017 at The Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia
RevGalBlogPals, in a joint effort with The Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, will offer a retreat specifically for women considering a call to professional ministry in the church. We hope you will share this event with women you know who are currently in discernment.
Unfortunately, a women’s call to ministry is not always readily affirmed and so this event aims to provide women of all ages and experience with a space to explore what God might be doing in their life. Talented pastors representing numerous different denominations will share their stories, insights, and experiences about their journey. Housing will be provided on campus and some meals supplied. There is no charge for the program.
This event is for women of all ages and denominations, but space is limited! Link to the registration page is on the event page.

Come and hear stories from a sister in ministry about the many hats she wears as writer, social media minister, clergy coach, pastor’s wife, mother of four, dog lover, and contemplative sock-knitter. How does she keep it all together – mostly? And how can you?
January 30 – February 3, 2017 at the Sirata Beach Resort, St. Pete Beach, Florida
Each year we offer continuing education at the Big Event, providing 20 Contact Hours (2 CEUs), as well as plentiful time for rest, recreation and “galship,” our re-gendered word for the feeling of Christian community we experience whenever and wherever we gather.
Other Big Events have taken place on cruise ships, where a particular gift is truly unplugging from the world of home and church. Topics have ranged from the Enneagram to Conflict in the Church to Biblical Storytelling.
In 2015, we held a second Big Event in Edinburgh (BEE), on the topic of pilgrimage.
Plans for Big Event 11 will be announced in early 2017.
May 5-10, 2017, Bishop’s House, Isle of Iona, Scotland
Our REVive programs are smaller retreats, intended for groups of 20-25, with a more contemplative feeling. We will announce future REVive plans in 2017.
