it seems new for some
…for so many, it started long ago
and now it is forced
the universe is telling us something.
help us to hear, O God
what is to become of us?
who are we to be?
how are we to act?
tell us, again, dear One—
who is our neighbor?
help us to see each one
to love all
to bind our hearts
to free our minds for collective imagination
and to commit our lives to universal shalom
God help us, we pray
and we will do our part
