I am Nehru Naik, I am native of small and backward village NVK THANDA,
Peddavoora Manadal, Nalagonda District, telagana India. I am
born in a very poor family, my parents were daily wage labours. I
belong to Schedule Tribe community which is most neglected community
in the society.
Voice calling me ” I NEED YOU MY SON”, I looked here and there but no
one was there. I opened the BIBLE, God spoke to me through the
scriptures, Nahum :1:15. According the Scripture I decided to search
the Gospel to the unreached areas of our society. And started
preaching the gospel in the year 1992 till now preached 24 villages of
our surroundings after taking Bible Training in collage and
established achurch, where saints are worshiping regularly.
One day while mediating the God’s word, God spoken with me by the
Scripture James 1:27 to care of orphan children. Hence, we have
started small orphanage with 10.orphans by providing food, shelter,
education.
We request you to kindly pray for these children as they need of
school books, bags & fees. We love you to invite you to come to our
children home whenever you visit India.

So interested to hear and read more. I am ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church. I am a pastor who serves mostly outside organized churches. Not because that was what I wanted, but because it was incredibly hard to find placement without leaving family that needed me close by. So my ministry is varied, and many times it is in conversation with the “nones and dones” who need to be heard and find God in their story.

why does feedly not work and Skewed View & Signs-Along-The-Way are no longer accessible to read posts. I know because as stinuksuk, I have been posting. I miss the old format where one could comment on another posts. Am I just behind the times?!!?

Skewed View and Signs Along the Way are both available in the feed – I know because it’s the one I check each week. But you need to click through to the particular blog to comment. That isn’t built into Feedly. When you first go to Feedly, you should see the first 6 of 247 feeds, then a button you can click to open all the rest. The list is alphabetical; we hear Feedly may sometime add an option to prioritize most recently updated sites, but that feature has not been added yet. When you click on a specific post in a blogger’s feed on Feedly, at the bottom you’ll see a button, “Go to website.” That’s where you can comment. I hope this helps.

I am happy to have found this blog. I am a lifelong member of the UCC, a PK (preacher’s kid in case anyone doesn’t know) and ex spouse of a pastor who cheated on me with a member of our congregation. My uncle, great grandfather, and best friend’s mom were also pastors. I worked as Director of Communications at Andover Newton Theological School, where I obtained a Master of Arts in Theology in 1995. During my time there, I got to know many future pastors, professors, and alums. I am presently active in Newman Congregational Church in Rumford, Rhode Island. I’m retired from a career in public relations and hoping to start a blog (I was a creative writing major many moons ago at Brown U.) drawing upon my experiences as a PK and pastor’s wife and the unique challenges of being a member of a pastor’s family. I would also write about my struggles with mental illness (I’m diagnosed as Bipolar II) and how I have emerged from the darkness and found the tools to build a happy and fulfilling life. I haven’t been able to find anything like it – and I’m wondering if anyone here would a) know of a similar blog or b) be interested in reading one. Thanks for any feedback!
