Wednesday Prayer

As we close another month,

And come to the middle of the week,

And engage in this crucial election season in the midst of a global pandemic-

We are praying

We are protesting

We are practicing love from a distance and in new ways

We are declaring truth and demanding justice

We are waiting

We are believing

We are imagining

We are trusting

Are you paying attention, God?

I hope so.

Cuz, damn…
