Gosh but the days are flying by!

I love this time of year – the days are lengthening now, and in my part of the world it means we have light from around 4am to around 9.30 pm – O Wondrous Light!!

This weekend is full – May is the month for the Church of Scotland General Assembly and that will start on Saturday – with pomp and ceremony, which I will have on the background whilst I am writing my sermon and hosting the Preacher Party.
In our little church we are hosting a concert for Christian Aid – for this week is also Christian Aid Week
The singers are all staying with me – so I’ve been cleaning and tidying rooms!
And next week, on Wednesday I will be bringing home a wee puppy!! So lots of puppy-proofing going on!

So it’s busy – again!

I made a List of Things earlier in the week which I thought might be triggers for this week’s Friday Five – and there are many more I could add in – but I’ll leave that you you all! Here is my five word summary…

  1. my 4 for this weekend:

    1. Excited to me organist/pianist tomorrow for Trinity Sunday worship,

    2. Sufficiently sad that I won’t be teaching SS beforehand (but that may not be all that terrible, since someone might ask me to explain the trinity) that it makes its own line item.

    3. Still looking hard for long-term housing after a pair of places I’d signed on to fell through, followed by at least three that looked promising, and then one that in many ways would have been near-perfect except for the location 2.5 – 3 hours away from most of my activities.

    4. Super-excited to anticipate designing a book cover for a client I’m done some work for in the past.
