This is a day of learning for me, God,
A day of moving outside of
My comfort zone
As I follow a star
Into a future that may be
Very different from today
And I pray for all of us
That we are willing to try
A new thing
Something we have not done before
So that we can grow
While following a star
Give us the courage
To move into an uncertain future
And to leave behind
The things which hold us down
As we pick up something different
In this season of Epiphany
May we be open to your light
And to your guidance
And to whatever is going to come
As we continue to follow the star
Amen

My word was “shine” — I was hoping for something less chalenging!

Mine was “seek”, and because I take part in another Star Words event, I also got “happiness”. Nice combination, I thought.
