Your feathered choir is in fine fettle this morning, God. They line the trees in the half light of dawn, clear their delicate throats, and sing in their strange language.
Guide us as we wake, brew the coffee, move about our day and into another week. Help us to be kind. Help us to be patient. Sustain the weary, comfort those who grieve, soothe the worry from our foreheads and our hearts. Remind us that if your care extends to the choir of beaks and feathers it surely covers us too.

Thank you for the time you’ve given us. Thank you for each other, this community that strives to uphold your commandments through love of neighbor, thank you for the ways we care for each other. Thank you for the shared work and the many willing hands. Strengthen and uphold us, we pray.
Amen.
