Oh God,

it is so…
Quiet.
Muffled.
Blanketed.
Chilled.
I feel the doubts rise
in my inactivity,
My waiting
for that next space
of Calling.

Underneath it all,
I strain to hear
the whispers of Promise,
The dreams
of what might be,
The memories
of a more active and fruitful time.

Holy One,
Nurture the eyes of my faith
To see your works,
Your grand design
In a future season of growth and change.

I know that you DO
“make all things new.”

AMEN.
