It’s the first Wednesday Festival in July. Game of Thrones is on a break & I am caught up on House of Cards with only two episodes of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt left to watch. Our family has already completed our Fantastic Summer Vacation. All we have now is the heat of a Texas summer to outlast. How’s your summer shaping up? Or not? Maybe it’s not even summer where you are.
Here are some blog posts to coax you into reading and interacting with some of our RGBP Ring Bloggers
Julia remembers and reflects on her observance of the Feast of Corpus Christi in Poland
“Most of us, though, still kneel reverently at the altar and, with Christ’s body still in ours, make excuses for why we do what we do, say what we say, think what we think.
Melissa imagines more of the story of the Good Samaritan
“After a couple of glasses of wine, he tells them about the stranger who saved his life, and who was one of them.”
Katherine ponders one of the distinct privileges we enjoy as ministers: getting know and love generations of families
“I wanted to be there, I wanted to be holding that sweet boy, I wanted to be given the privilege of blessing him, I just wanted my friend to be there too.”
Grab a glass of ice water, lemonade, or sweet tea and go visit around the blog ring. It’s a great way to spend a hot afternoon!
