Spirit of Healing-

As stress can elevate our emotions, our bodies take the brunt of life’s intense moments. Our stomachs ache. Our heads throb. Our hearts race.

And as we say to ourselves “deep breaths” to calm whatever stress plagues us, our minds can’t get out of the way. Thoughts swirl causing all the physiological ailments to creep back into our bodies.

So today God, we plead with you again to help us release anxiety and embrace hope. Fill our hearts with a spirit of calmness and our souls with a balm of peace. May we learn to turn the page of tension through spiritual and physical practices, knowing that you are with us in each attempt to find serenity in our lives.

Amen.
