Generous God, for your small and mysterious gifts, thank you. As the big box of palms arrived, I start to feel a glimmer of Easter hope. Thinking about Sunday, picturing the kids ringing the chimes and waving the palms, I start to see a way out of Lent, and all that feels like an eternal Lent.
For the people and moments that give hope, thank you. May your Spirit fan the tiny flames of hope into more.
For the people living through not just Lent, but our human-made version of hell, come in power. May the stones cry out for peace and justice.
For those not feeling the hope yet, come and sit in the quiet. May they feel your company in the shadows.
In the name of the One who brings every gift of peace, Amen.
